Terms of Service
The rules of working with us, in plain English.
Last updated: October 8, 2026
- Previews are free, with no obligation.
- Rent a website for $39, $59 or $79 a month, with $0 setup. Cancel anytime.
- We own the website; your name, logo, photos and content stay yours. If you cancel, we take the site down at the end of your paid month.
- 48-hour fixes are a fixed price, agreed upfront, and you only pay if you’re happy.
01Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and UKUXHUMA (Pty) Ltd (“Ukuxhuma”, “we”, “us”), a private company registered in South Africa under registration number 2026/767206/07, at 7 Connor Ave, Westdene, Bloemfontein 9301, South Africa. You can reach us at martin@ukuxhuma.com or +1 (512) 641-1825 (US) or +27 84 261 6304 (South Africa).
By requesting a preview, renting a website or ordering a fix from us, you agree to these terms. If you’re agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you’re allowed to do so.
02What we offer
- Free website preview. A working draft of a website for your business, built from public information, at no cost.
- Website rental. We build, host, secure and maintain a website for your business for a monthly fee.
- 48-hour fix. We fix one agreed problem on your existing website for a fixed price.
03Free previews
A preview is free and carries no obligation. Asking for one, or receiving one, does not create a contract or any duty to pay. We build previews from information that is publicly available, such as your Google Business Profile, your current website and public reviews. If you’d like us to remove a preview, email us and we’ll take it down.
04Website rental plans
All plans are month to month, with $0 setup. Prices are in US dollars:
- Starter, $39/month: a mobile-friendly website with tap-to-call, including hosting, security (SSL) and software updates.
- Growth, $59/month: everything in Starter, plus help setting up and improving your Google Business Profile, and up to 2 edits to your website each month.
- Pro, $79/month: everything in Growth, plus a review-request helper that makes it easy for happy customers to leave you a review.
An “edit” is a small content change, such as updating text, a photo, your hours, a service or your service area. Unused edits don’t carry over to the next month. Bigger changes, like new pages or a redesign, are quoted separately before we do any work.
Your plan starts, and your first payment is due, only when you approve your website and it goes live. After that, you’re billed monthly in advance on the same date each month. If we ever change our prices, we’ll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.
05Who owns what
The website is ours. We own the design, code, layout and hosting of every rented website. While your plan is active, you have the right to use it for your business. This is what lets us offer a professional website without a big upfront bill.
Your content is yours. Your business name, logo, photos, wording you send us and your customer details always belong to you. You give us permission to use them on your website while your plan is active.
Domain names. A domain you already own stays yours. If we register a new domain for you as part of your plan, we’ll transfer it to you on request if you cancel, once any amounts owed are paid.
Prefer to own it outright? Ask us. We can quote a one-time price to buy your website, agreed in writing.
06Cancelling
You can cancel anytime by emailing us or cancelling your subscription in PayPal. There are no cancellation fees. Your website stays online until the end of the month you’ve already paid for, then we take it down. If you ask within 30 days of cancelling, we’ll send you a copy of the content you gave us.
If a payment fails, we’ll let you know and give you at least 7 days to sort it out before we pause your website. We may also suspend or end a plan if these terms are seriously broken, for example if a website is used for something unlawful.
07The 48-hour fix
- Before we start, we agree in writing (usually by email) exactly what we’ll fix and the fixed price.
- We aim to finish within 48 hours of receiving the access we need. If something outside our control causes a delay, we’ll tell you straight away.
- We only touch what the fix needs. We recommend you keep a current backup of your website before we start.
- When we’re done, we show you the before and after. You only pay if you’re happy that the agreed problem is fixed. If we can’t fix it, you owe nothing.
- If the same problem comes back within 30 days because of our work, we’ll fix it again at no charge.
08Payments
We take payments through PayPal. You can pay with a PayPal account or a debit or credit card through PayPal’s checkout. We never see or store your full card details. Prices don’t include any sales taxes that may apply where you are.
09Refunds
Because you see and approve your website before paying, and can cancel anytime, monthly payments aren’t normally refunded for part-months. But if something goes wrong on our side, such as your website being offline for a long stretch or a billing mistake, tell us within 30 days and we’ll put it right, including a refund where that’s fair. Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under consumer laws that apply to you.
10Your part
- Give us accurate information, and only send us content you have the right to use.
- Make sure claims about your business are true, such as licenses, insurance, prices and service areas.
- Don’t use your website or our services for anything unlawful, misleading, abusive or spammy.
11What we can and can’t promise
We work hard to keep your website fast, secure and online, but no website can be available 100% of the time, and occasional maintenance or outages at third-party providers can happen. We can’t guarantee search rankings or a particular number of calls or customers.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects you, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top always shows the current version.
13Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If you’re a consumer, you also keep any protections given to you by the laws of the place where you live. If something isn’t right, please talk to us first. Most problems can be solved with a quick email or call.
